Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness are maintained at all times. Supervise kitchen staff, including training new team members, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a positive team environment. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation with accuracy. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures across all operations. Lead shift management activities including scheduling staff, overseeing food production, supervising service flow, and resolving customer concerns promptly. Skills Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within casual dining or fine dining environments. Proven ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service and hospitality. Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Skilled in inventory control, budgeting, and food management to maximize profitability.
