Full-time, Onsite Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

Research and analyze accounting data to prepare balance sheets, P&L statements, and comprehensive reports for management.

General Ledger Maintenance:

Document and process asset, liability, and capital account entries by meticulously compiling and analyzing account information.

Audit Management:

Coordinate and direct both internal and external audits, including the preparation of quarterly work papers to ensure full compliance.

Internal Controls & Process Design:

Develop, document, and maintain business processes and accounting policies to strengthen financial safeguards.

Transaction Substantiation:

Verify financial transactions through rigorous document auditing and reconcile discrepancies by investigating account history.

Tax & Government Compliance:

Prepare and file necessary government reports, including sales/use tax, property tax, and corporate income tax.

Systems & Oversight:

Manage financial software systems and oversee branch accuracy by checking calculations and transaction postings.

Leadership & Support:

Guide accounting clerks, lead special projects, and provide cross-functional support to meet evolving business needs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting A minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in related accounting functions is mandatory. Must possess expert-level skills in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and demonstrate the ability to manage accounting software. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills are essential for identifying discrepancies and interpreting complex financial data. High level of accuracy, thoroughness, and organization to ensure the integrity of financial records. Excellent communication and customer service skills are required to collaborate with internal teams and external auditors. Capability to guide junior staff and coordinate cross-departmental activities effectively.
