Job Description:
Be a part of UNI's award winning dining program as a Food Service Supervisor at the Rialto in Towers Center! This is a first shift swing position scheduled to work Monday-Friday with rotating weekends. Under general supervision, the food service supervisor directs, supervises, and coordinates the production, distribution, and service of quality menu items; plans and prepares work schedules and daily production assignments; consults with food service supervisors and managers to coordinate operations; orients, trains, assigns work and evaluates work of student and Merit staff; maintains sanitation and safety standards; determines set-up of service areas; maintains inventory controls; recommends menu changes; responds to inquiries and concerns from staff and customers; and performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
High school graduation or equivalent and two years of directly related food distribution experience; or any equivalent combination of post high school education and experience providing a knowledge or background in institutional food service distribution.
