As a private, members-only club, we pride ourselves on offering outstanding hospitality to our members, their families and guests in a warm and professional atmosphere. This role will fulfill day-to-day bartending duties, while being responsible for keeping the bar stocked, organized, clean and prepared for service. This position works directly with the Food and Beverage Manager to track inventory for ordering purposes and monthly inventory counts. We are seeking an employee who will share our enthusiasm to be a part of this new phase of our 103 year old club. In 2025 we finished a clubhouse renovation, including our dining facilities and bar. In 2023 we completed an awarding winning course re-design by course architect Gil Hanse. With our new direction our bar focus is on craft cocktails, independent wineries and breweries to match the tastes of our expanding membership. The ideal candidate is a passionate and self-motivated employee to our small dining room team. With a small team, everyone on our staff pitches in to help run food, clean tables and whatever else is needed to take care of our members and guests. As the lead bartender, it is important to participate in all aspects of the dining room experience and to support your co-workers. Please know that we are a gratuity free Club—this is a full-time position with a set hourly wage and annual bonus with full health benefits, as well as vacation pay and pension and will be a member of the Local 2 Union. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensuring all beverages are stocked in member dining areas and coordinating with Events Manager for special needs and events
- Tracking all beverage needs for ordering and inventory purposes with F&B Manager
- Prepares orders at appropriate times for beer, liquor and wine and non-alcoholic needs
- Conducts monthly inventory with management
- Attend Food & Beverage meetings as needed.
- Assists at the direction of Events Manager for internal and external Club functions
- Verifies members or guest status in a polite and courteous manner.
- Greets and seats guests and oversees meal services
- Following cocktail preparation standards, appropriate pour levels and standards for beer and wine
- Maintaining clean and organized areas in all F&B service areas.
- Comply with all state, local and club laws/policies related to the service of food and alcohol
- When closing, responsible for all bar and restaurant areas being clean and ready for service the next day
- Secure the bar at the end of the shift and lock the entire Clubhouse if closing

Experience :
2 to 4 years of bartending and inventory management preferred. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively in English before groups of customers or employees of organization. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
