Pepper Lunch is a fast-paced, fun, and hands-on restaurant concept where guests enjoy meals served on 500-degree sizzling hot plates. Our operations are simple, efficient, and team-driven. Team members help create a great guest experience by preparing orders, assembling menu items, maintaining restaurant cleanliness, and delivering friendly service. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy food, people, teamwork, and growth within a restaurant environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
Store Managers Store Managers are responsible for leading daily restaurant operations and supporting team performance.
Responsibilities include:
Lead, coach, and support team members during shifts Ensure excellent guest service and hospitality standards Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures Maintain food quality, cleanliness, safety, and brand standards Monitor labor, inventory, cash handling, and shift performance Train new team members on procedures, service expectations, and food safety Support scheduling, communication, and team accountability Handle guest concerns professionally and quickly Maintain a positive, fast-paced, and team-focused work environment Store Team Members Team Members support front-of-house and back-of-house operations to deliver a great guest experience.
Responsibilities include:
Greet guests with a positive and welcoming attitude Take orders, run food, and assist guests as needed Assemble menu items according to Pepper Lunch standards Work with hot plates and kitchen equipment safely Maintain cleanliness in dining, service, kitchen, and prep areas Follow food safety, sanitation, and handwashing procedures Restock supplies, clean stations, and support shift needs Work as a team during busy service periods Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning tasks Skills and Qualifications Positive attitude and strong work ethic Friendly, professional, and guest-focused personality Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move during shifts Comfortable working around hot food, hot plates, and kitchen equipment Previous restaurant, hospitality, cashier, kitchen, or customer service experience is a plus Food handler card preferred or ability to obtain one, if required Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is a plus Compensation and Benefits Competitive pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour Flexible scheduling Growth and advancement opportunities Fun, fast-paced team environment Discounted meals Training provided for the right candidates
