Job Summary:
Responsible to assist with all food service-related activites in the department. Functions include overseeing the timeliness of meal preparation and delivery for non-patient meals, payroll functions, quality control monitoring, scheduling, coaching and written counseling for employees. Ensures employees comply with food safety and work safety standards.
Qualifications:
Education High School Diploma/G.E.D. (required) College Degree

- Serve Safe Food Handler
- NRA•National Restaurant Association Serve Safe Certification (preferred) Other•Other
CDM, CFPP
(preferred) Work Experience Minimum five (5) years Increasingly responsible experience which demonstrates proficiency in the skills and knowledge required to perform the job. (required) Minimum one (1) year Supervisory Experience of one year in healthcare food service operation (preferred) Minimum three (3) years Experience working in food service in cafeteria, hospital, school food service setting. (preferred) Skills and Abilities Computer Skills Must be able to use computer for Email, Microsoft Office, timekeeping, etc. And Must be able to read, write and understand English Must be able to have basic math skills Must have working knowledge of food quantity production Must have working knowledge or basic modified diets Must have working knowledge of training, coaching and disciplining staff and team building skills Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
