Department Manager-JUICE & COFFEE Vintage Grocers - 3.1 Malibu, CA Job Details Full-time $22 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Customer complaint resolution Full Job Description Coffee & Juice Bar Manager Job Summary We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused Coffee & Juice Bar Manager to oversee daily operations of a fast-paced café and juice bar. The manager will lead staff, maintain high-quality beverage and food standards, manage inventory and scheduling, and ensure an exceptional customer experience while driving sales and profitability. Key Responsibilities Innovates, and creates new menu items Supervise daily operations of the coffee and juice bar Lead, train, motivate, and schedule baristas and team members Ensure excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally Prepare and oversee preparation of coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, juices, and light food items Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards Monitor inventory levels and place supply orders as needed Manage cash handling, POS systems, and end-of-day reporting Track sales, labor costs, and operational performance Develop promotions, seasonal menus, and upselling strategies Ensure compliance with health department regulations and company policies Conduct opening and closing procedures Non-Essential Job Duties May perform similar and incidental duties as required by Leadership. Qualifications Previous experience in café, coffee shop, juice bar, or restaurant management Strong leadership and team management skills Knowledge of espresso equipment and juice/smoothie preparation Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Experience with scheduling, inventory, and cash management Food Handler Certification and/or ServSafe certification preferred Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays Preferred Skills Sales experience Knowledge of healthy beverages, nutrition trends, and specialty coffee Ability to train staff on drink consistency and presentation Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Lift up to 50 pounds Work in a busy, high-energy environment
