Join the team at InterContinental The Clement Monterey, located on beautiful Cannery Row overlooking the Monterey Bay. We are seeking an energetic, service-focused, and hands-on Food & Beverage Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. As part of the Food & Beverage leadership team, this position plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of our Restaurant, Bar, Room Service, and Banquet departments while mentoring associates and helping drive guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and team engagement. What You'll Do Supervise daily Food & Beverage and Banquet operations Support and mentor restaurant, bar, room service, and banquet associates Ensure exceptional guest service and uphold luxury hospitality standards Assist with scheduling, training, coaching, and associate development Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards Support banquet functions, special events, and group operations Assist with beverage inventory, ordering, mini bar operations, and cost control Help maintain health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol compliance standards Resolve guest concerns professionally and proactively Collaborate with culinary and hotel leadership teams to ensure seamless operations Qualifications Minimum 1-2 years of Food & Beverage leadership or hotel supervisory experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills Ability to multitask and remain organized in a high-volume environment Knowledge of restaurant and banquet operations preferred Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Food Handler Certification and alcohol awareness certification required or ability to obtain upon hire Preferred Qualifications Hotel Food & Beverage experience Knowledge of MICROS, Delphi, OpenTable, or similar systems TIPS, ServSafe, or Sommelier certifications Passion for hospitality and team development Apply today and become part of our hospitality family.
