Team Leader Stateline Road Smokehouse Napa, CA Job Details Full-time $31 - $34 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Cash amount verification Guest relations Answering guest questions Accounting Organizational skills Manual handling Full Job Description Stateline Road Smokehouse (SRS) is one of the busiest restaurants in the Napa Valley after opening in August of 2024. We are a quick service, fine casual restaurant featuring Kansas City inspired BBQ in a casual and unpretentious environment. We are looking for a full time Team Leader to join our Front of House team.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Team Leader acts as the lead or main point of contact during service for any Front of House related matters, including tech or guest issues, until manager presence is required. The Team Leader is in an elevated hourly position acting as the counterpart to the Front of House Manager at the restaurant, overseeing the counter servers and floor servers/bussers. They are responsible for all day-to-day, line-level FOH operations, overseeing the shift, ensuring guest satisfaction. The Team Leader contributes to guest service and satisfaction, food quality, and compliance. The Team Leader will work alongside the Front of House Manager to ensure restaurant operations are met to the highest standard.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
These job functions include but are not limited to the following duties, and are not listed in order of importance. Other duties may be assigned. Always carry out the functions of a counter server and/or runner/busser in addition to Lead Supervisor duties Act as the lead or main point of contact during service for any FOH related matters, including tech or guest issues during a Front of House Manager absence Supervise all Front of House staff during scheduled hours. Assist Front of House Manager with performance discussions when applicable Handle any FOH scheduling issues in the moment - call outs, swapped shifts, etc. Ensure timely resolution to any service, operational and/or guest issues Ensure opening/closing duties are complete Ensure the drawer amount is accurate and safely stored between shifts Ensure daily accounting is up to date and the House Cash Workbook is accurate Check daily, weekly and monthly side work Assist in training of new FOH line-level personnel Assist in daily/weekly uploading of beverage invoices Uphold SRS service standards all times. Ensure Front of House staff are operating the restaurant to standard. Maintain an impeccable physical space - keep property up to SRS standards

LANGUAGE SKILLS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, & WORK CONDITIONS
Ability to read and interpret general menu modifications. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, guests, and SRS Leadership Team. The physical demands of a Team Leader include being regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, or hear. Frequently it is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. The Team Leader is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. They must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time and able to safely lift and easily maneuver plates, cases of water, beer, wine, or liquor, chairs, and dining room tables. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but can be high when working at sites during the construction process.
