Boichik Bagels is hiring at our Palo Alto location ! It's all about the bagel: our mission is to preserve a treasured cultural food tradition and bring it into the future. Candidates should have:

A Food Serve Safe Certificate - Required to have certification within 30 days of employment High school diploma or GED preferred At least one year of restaurant experience in a supervisory role, retail or customer service experience preferred Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to lift up to 30lb Must have excellent communication & interpersonal skills, able to maintain positive mental attitudes & professionalism with co-workers & guests. Weekends a must!

Responsibilities:

• Work the floor during business hours, ensuring an organized, efficient, and smoothly run service
• Supervise all employees, with unit manager's assistance: scheduling, training, and corrections to ensure company standards are adhered to
• General restaurant administrative duties: bank visits (deposits and change), inventory, ordering, running end of day reports
• Manage customer issues, special requests, and how to communicate with customers to mitigate grievances
• Quality control: ensuring that the bagels come out perfect every day, giving the tools and information to the bakers to help them do so
• Ensure restaurant cleanliness, customer satisfaction, and employee pride!
