Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Restaurant Shift Leader to join our dynamic team! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring exceptional customer service, smooth donut, dessert, and drink production, and efficient team management. Your leadership will inspire staff to deliver top-quality food and service while maintaining a lively and welcoming atmosphere. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality management, food service, and team development to make a positive impact in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise restaurant staff during your shift, ensuring all team members perform their duties effectively. Oversee food and drink creation processes to guarantee high standards of quality, safety, and presentation. Manage POS (Point of Sale) system such as SquarePOS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy. Monitor inventory levels regularly to ensure adequate stock of ingredients, supplies, and equipment; assist with inventory control procedures. Enforce food safety standards and sanitation protocols to maintain compliance with health regulations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and ensuring a positive dining experience. Assist with staff training, coaching, and development to foster a motivated and skilled team. Handle cash transactions accurately and reconcile end-of-shift reports diligently. Maintain a lively atmosphere that encourages teamwork, hospitality excellence, and guest satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience in food and/or drink preparation within quick service or fast food restaurants; casual dining or fine dining experience is a plus. Strong supervisory skills with previous supervising or management experience in the food industry. Familiarity with POS system such as SquarePOS; cash handling expertise required. Have or willingness to take the short online class to become a Certified Food Safety Manager (short online class). Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
