This is a full-time position located at our Scripps Corporate Campus in 4S Ranch in the Rancho Bernardo area. Must be available to work a Day shift of 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday. As the Lead for Food and Nutrition Services, your main duties will include oversight of staff to ensure tasks are completed appropriately. You will also be the person in charge on weekends and when the supervisor is unavailable. You will provide leadership and coordination in the following Food Service operational systems: safe food handling, volume food production, menu development and modification, meal assembly and portion control, inventory management, food service equipment operations, customer service, human resources management, financial performance, infection control/sanitation and overall department function. Participates in the planning, coordination, preparation and volume production of meals for patients, cafeteria, and catering/special events. Complies with TJC, Title XXII and other regulations.
