Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately. Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales. Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the café, deli, kitchen, and food prep areas following food safety guidelines. Assist with food handling, bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring quick turnaround times during busy hours. Support team members in food preparation, food safety compliance, and overall restaurant operations to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in transaction processing. Experience in customer service roles within the food industry or retail settings demonstrates strong communication skills. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques is essential. Prior kitchen or café experience involving culinary tasks or serving customers will help you excel in this role. Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while multitasking across various responsibilities is crucial. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management are important assets.
