Pay:

starting from $21/hour, depending on experience, plus tips Please only apply if you and 1+ year experience in specialty coffee and have 6+ months experience as a shift-lead or a similar position We are seeking a dependable Shift Lead to run daily floor operations and support our team.

What You'll Do Shift Supervision & Mentorship:

Direct daily operations on the floor, managing POS (Point of Sales) order flows and training and mentoring baristas to maintain high standards.

Beverage Craft & Quality Control:

Prepare drinks according to exact recipes, utilizing a strong understanding of coffee extraction to dial in profiles and ensure consistent, high-quality latte art.

Cafe Operations & Maintenance:

Prepare ready-to-serve or quick-prep food items, maintain basic inventory levels, and perform routine maintenance on the espresso machine.

Compliance & Cleanliness:

Ensure strict adherence to cleanliness protocols and health department compliance across all shifts.

What You Bring Experience:

Hold 1+ years of specialty coffee experience alongside 6+ months of leadership or supervisory experience.

Collaborative Leadership:

Act as a team player and strong communicator who cooperatively anticipates the needs of both the staff and guests.

Hospitality & Education:

Engage customers with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, clearly sharing details about coffee origins and seasonal menu items.

Inclusivity & Community:

Provide a welcoming, inclusive experience for every guest, regardless of where they are on their coffee journey.

From $21.00 per hour
