Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and process payments smoothly while practicing proper cash handling procedures. Assist with food safety practices by following sanitation guidelines, proper food handling techniques, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. Support food preparation tasks including bussing tables, stocking supplies, and ensuring the dining area remains inviting and organized. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities through friendly recommendations. Collaborate with team members to ensure quick service delivery during busy hours while managing time effectively. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurant environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transactions. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple tasks seamlessly. Previous restaurant experience or background in the food industry is highly valued; retail math or grocery store experience is a plus.
