$85,000 - $110,000 per year Job Details - We are on the hunt for a passionate and dedicated Permanent Culinary Assurance Supervisor to join our 2nd shift team in the food manufacturing industry. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a background in food safety and quality assurance to integrate their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Culinary Assurance Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of food products and services are delivered to our clients. You will be responsible for overseeing the food inspection process, ensuring compliance with USDA standards, and maintaining the Quality and Food Safety (Q&FS) system. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for food safety, and a knack for leadership, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate the food inspection process to ensure compliance with USDA and other regulatory standards. 2. Maintain and improve the Q&FS system, ensuring all food products meet the required quality and safety standards. 3. Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and procedures. 4. Train and mentor the inspection team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. 5. Collaborate with other departments to integrate quality assurance processes throughout the company. 6. Monitor and report on quality assurance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. 7. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in food safety and quality assurance. 8. Handle any food safety and quality issues that arise, ensuring they are resolved promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance, preferably in the Accounting + Finance industry. 3. Strong knowledge of USDA standards and food inspection processes. 4. Proven experience in developing and implementing quality assurance protocols and procedures. 5. Excellent leadership and team management skills. 6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 9. Proficiency in using quality assurance software and tools. 10. Certified Food Safety Professional (CFSP) or similar certification would be an advantage.
