Job Description

Overview Sweetfin is California's original poke bowl concept, built on the idea that fast food can actually taste good and feel good. We're looking for a Kitchen Lead who can own the back-of-house experience — someone who holds the line, moves fast, and genuinely cares about the food and the team making it. This energetic role is perfect for a motivated professional eager to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure top-quality food safety standards, and foster a positive environment for staff and guests alike. As a FOH and Kitchen Lead, you will be the driving force behind smooth kitchen and front of house workflows, maintaining high standards in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused setting. Your passion for food, management experience, and dedication to team development will help elevate our culinary offerings and guest satisfaction. Duties Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and timely service in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment Lead and train kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and customer service standards Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices Enforce strict food safety and sanitation standards to comply with health regulations and maintain high-quality dining experiences Support catering contributing to diverse food production needs Experience Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations within the food industry 3+ years of kitchen experience in a fast-casual or high-volume restaurant environment Strong knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food safety practices Experience in training & development of staff members to foster growth and ensure consistent service quality Demonstrated leadership skills in hospitality management environments such as hotels or fine dining establishments Previous roles involving team management, interviewing candidates, shift management, and customer service excellenceJoin us as a Kitchen Lead to bring your culinary passion to life while leading a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional food experiences.
