As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing staff, coordinating food production, and enhancing the overall dining experience. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service. Lead, train, and mentor staff members, fostering a positive team environment. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members. Oversee food production processes to maintain quality standards and compliance with health regulations. Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control and equipment maintenance. Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and effectively. Collaborate with the management team to implement strategies for improving service efficiency and guest satisfaction. Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to promote professional growth. Experience Previous experience in restaurant management or food service management is preferred. Familiarity with casual dining environments and kitchen management practices is advantageous. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Experience in food production processes, including cooking and preparation techniques. Knowledge of coffee preparation is a plus, enhancing our beverage offerings. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and staff alike.
