Job Description

Dialog Café WeHo is looking for an Evening Floor Lead to join our team. We're seeking someone who shares our core values, has a genuine passion for hospitality, is team-oriented, and can stay composed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Must be able to close at least 4 nights a week Hours range from 12:30pm to 10:30pm Starting Pay $22, plus tips
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee dinner service operations and ensure all dinner menu items are prepared, presented, and served according to established quality standards, maintaining consistency, accuracy, and an exceptional guest experience.
  • Communicate and relay information between team members and upper management
  • Delegate tasks effectively and provide consistent follow-up to ensure completion
  • Guide and support team members through daily operations, responsibilities, and projects
  • Hold team members accountable for performance standards while providing coaching, support, and corrective feedback when necessary
  • Ensure the team delivers fast, friendly, and accurate customer service at all times
  • Maintain high standards of product quality, cleanliness, maintenance, and overall restaurant security
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with proper cash handling and deposit procedures
  • Verify completion of all departmental checklists and operational tasks
  • Resolve guest concerns and service issues professionally while adhering to company standards and policies
  • Support management in hosting VIP guests and ensuring their experience reflects company standards and expectations
  • Ensure the café is properly closed each day in accordance with company standards and operational procedures
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior customer service or café/restaurant experience preferred
  • Valid Food Handler's Certificate and ABC License
  • Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers
  • Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused restaurant
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize tasks
  • Strong understanding of hospitality and service standards
  • Knowledge of wine & beer preferred
