The Food Execution Lead plays a critical role in ensuring Maverik's foodservice programs are executed with consistency, safety, and excellence across all stores. This role leads food safety and operational standards while partnering closely with store operations to train, coach, and support teams in delivering a high-quality, customer-centric food experience that drives sales and brand trust.

This role directly impacts food safety, product quality, and the consistency of Maverik's foodservice experience across BonFire™ Grill, Cinnabon, and broader food programs—ensuring customers receive safe, high-quality, and craveable food every visit.Location/Schedule:
Must reside in UT, CO, or AZ. This role follows a 4-day hybrid in-office schedule. Overnight and in-market travel up to 50% is required, including periodic store visits and occasional weekend/after-hours support for operational needs.Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop direct reports, including hiring, training, performance management, and ongoing development Develop, maintain, and enforce food safety programs, SOPs, and operational standards across foodservice platforms Conduct regular store and territory visits to assess execution, provide coaching, and ensure compliance with company standards Partner with operations to ensure proper execution of planograms, signage, ordering levels, and merchandising standards Support new store openings and remodels by delivering foodservice training and assisting with setup and execution readiness Participate in district and operational meetings to support communication, training rollouts, and new food initiative launches Drive execution of foodservice initiatives that maximize sales, improve productivity, and reduce waste while maintaining food safety standards Lead production planning, coaching, and accountability efforts to build high-performing foodservice teams Analyze financial and operational performance, manage departmental expenses, and support strategic growth initiatives Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and leadership support through regular check-ins Ensure consistent application of company policies and standards, including appropriate corrective action and accountability practices You'll be a great fit for this adventure if you have: 5+ years of progressive experience in foodservice, food safety, food handling, or a related operational environment with a strong understanding of compliance and execution standards 1+ year of leadership or team development experience, including coaching, training, or direct people management responsibilities Experience working with operational systems such as Excel, POS platforms, QSR environments, or similar retail/foodservice tools Strong knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and food safety regulations with the ability to ensure consistent compliance in a multi-unit environment Proven ability to influence cross-functional partners and drive execution in a fast-paced, multi-location operational setting The Maverik Spirit - you're a clear communicator, team player, and problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Bonus points if you also bring: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Food Science, Business Administration, or a related field Experience supporting new store openings, remodels, or large-scale food program rollouts Prior experience in multi-unit retail or convenience store foodservice operationsCompensation & Benefits Pay Range:
$80,000 - $97,000 + DOE and Bonus Opportunities The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.Benefits Include:
