Interim Dining Services Director About the
Role:
As the Dining Services Director, you'll oversee all aspects of food service operations within our facility. From menu planning to quality control, you'll ensure residents receive nutritious, appealing meals in a safe, efficient, and budget-conscious environment. You'll also lead and support a dedicated Dining Services team, fostering a positive dining experience for all.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily food preparation and meal service according to planned menus Supervise, train, and manage Dietary Aides and Cooks Recruit, onboard, and retain dining staff to minimize turnover Monitor and respond to residents' nutritional needs and physician-ordered diets Order food, supplies, and equipment; inspect deliveries for quality, accuracy, and pricing Ensure compliance with dietary regulations and safety standards Collaborate in patient care meetings, contributing nutritional insights Maintain accurate and timely nutrition documentation Adapt menus to meet the diverse dietary needs of residents across skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, and independent living Implement systems to support regulatory compliance and high-quality outcomes Deliver excellent customer service and build positive relationships with residents

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification or willingness to obtain ServSafe Certification Minimum 2 years of relevant food service management experience
