Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shift Leader to oversee daily store operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and lead a dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the store runs smoothly during your shift. Your leadership will inspire team members to achieve sales goals, uphold company standards, and deliver a positive shopping experience for all customers. Duties Supervise daily store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and cash handling to ensure operational excellence during your shift Lead, motivate, and train team members on store policies, sales techniques, and customer service standards to foster a high-performing team environment Manage employee orientation and onboarding processes for new hires, including interviewing and recruiting efforts to build a strong team foundation Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales opportunities Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly using excellent communication skills and phone etiquette Maintain accurate payroll records, perform bookkeeping tasks, and assist with budgeting and sales management activities Ensure compliance with safety protocols, POS system operations, and store policies while supervising cashiers and managing cash handling procedures Skills Strong leadership abilities with previous supervisory or assistant manager experience in retail or restaurant settings Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively Proficiency in retail math, POS systems, inventory management software, and cash handling procedures Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee training & development, and team management to drive sales growth Knowledge of merchandising techniques, marketing strategies, and store presentation standards Organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment involving stocking, purchasing, and retail sales Experience in supervising staff through shift management while maintaining high levels of customer service excellence Join our team as a Shift Leader if you're passionate about leading by example and creating a vibrant dining environment!
