LA PLAGE MYSTIC IS LOOKING FOR A BAR MANAGER TO JOIN THEIR TEAM!
The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar operation, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining beverage quality standards, driving sales and profitability, managing inventory and costs, and leading the bar team. This role combines operational leadership, staff development, beverage program management, and guest engagement to create a vibrant and profitable bar environment. Responsibilities Operations Management Oversee the daily operation of the Bars Ensure all beverage service standards and company procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all bar areas. Beverage Program Maintain cocktail, wine, beer, and spirits programs as set by the Bev Director. Create seasonal cocktail menus and specialty beverage offerings. Collaborate with culinary and management teams on beverage pairings and promotions. Maintain product quality and consistency through recipe standardization. Stay current on beverage trends, products, and industry developments. Team Leadership Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop bartenders and bar support staff. Conduct ongoing coaching, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions when necessary. Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture. Build relationships with regular guests and VIP clientele. Create memorable experiences that encourage repeat business. Inventory & Purchasing Order liquor, wine, beer, mixers, and bar supplies. Maintain proper inventory controls and storage procedures. Ensure accurate receiving and invoice processing.
