Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dining Room Supervisor to lead our dining room team and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our residents. In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily operations within the dining area, manage staff, uphold food safety standards, and deliver outstanding customer service. Your leadership will inspire a motivated team committed to excellence, efficiency, and hospitality. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for food service management and team development to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced environment. Duties Supervise and coordinate all aspects of dining room operations, including food presentation, service flow, and customer satisfaction. Train, mentor, and evaluate staff members on food handling, customer service, POS systems , and safety procedures. Manage shift schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure smooth service during peak hours. Oversee inventory control, monitor stock levels of food and supplies, and coordinate with kitchen management on food production and catering needs. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile daily sales reports. Enforce food safety standards and sanitation protocols in compliance with health regulations. Support hiring processes by interviewing candidates and participating in staff training & development initiatives to foster a high-performing team. Qualifications Proven supervising experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with a focus on food preparation, cooking, and food service management. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential. Demonstrated leadership skills in hospitality management, team management, and training & development. Experience working in fine dining or casual dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally. Previous experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within the food industry is highly desirable.
