Assistant Store Manager Position Overview:
The Closing Shift Supervisor will coordinate with the Store Manager on the day-to-day operations of Aunt Berta's Kitchen of New Castle. The ideal candidate for the Aunt Berta's Kitchen team would be a person who will create a positive store culture by treating employees fairly and with respect. Additionally, they would be self-motivated dependable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining 100% total customer focus and operational excellence. Job Qualifications At least 1 year of Management work experience. At least 2 years of Food Service experience. Must be consistent, dependable, and friendly. Possess exceptional customer service skills Prior POS experience (experience with Toast a plus)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversite & Team Management:
Enforce and ensure that all company policies are Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements Ensures work site security and enforces theft protocol Carefully and thoughtfully assigns work partners in the same department for maximized efficiency Maintains a standard for sound employee relations and safety of all employees. Oversees and monitors portion control standards of food and beverages for the staff. Investigates and resolves food quality and service Monitoring sales receipts and cash Investigates all customer and employee concerns
Marketing and Promotion:
Initiates and oversees in-house promotions for the restaurant. Ensures that promotion paraphernalia is placed where instructed by upper management Service to
Customers :
Uses evaluation tools to assist customers in evaluating services received for the day. Maintain communication with waiting customers. Ensure that you are always working in a clean environment by cleaning as you go. Thank all departing customers and leave an open invitation to be called for their next event or function. Follows customer refund and mishap procedures Welcome all incoming customers Tour the floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers to identify or resolve urgent issues Related Responsibilities All employees are responsible to assist where needed while on duty in the areas of sweeping, vacuuming, dishwashing, cooking, shopping, and catering. All employees are required to place all personal belongings in the designated areas. All personal items including coats, hats, bags, etc.…are not permitted in any work area. All employees are required to wash their hands prior to shift start and intermittently throughout their shift. All employees are required to wear a hat or hairnet when cooking and serving food from the steamtable.
