About Us KidsPark Brandon is a safe, fun, pay-as-you-play childcare center for children ages 2-12. We offer flexible, hourly care during the day, evenings, and weekends—with no reservations required . KidsPark provides engaging experiences for every age, including STEAM-based preschool, enrichment activities, after-school and back-up care. For more than 30 years, KidsPark centers nationwide have delivered the flexible childcare solution families want and need—giving parents peace of mind and kids a place they love. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about creating exceptional experiences for children and families. We're looking for someone who doesn't wait to be told what to do—they see what needs to be done and take action. Key Responsibilities Lead daily center operations and serve as the point person during assigned shifts Model professionalism, teamwork, and excellent customer service for staff and families Take initiative to identify and solve problems before they impact operations or the customer experience Support, coach, and motivate team members to maintain high standards of care and engagement Ensure compliance with all DCF licensing requirements, health and safety regulations, and KidsPark policies Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout the center Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through warm and effective communication Implement engaging play-based activities for children ages 2-12 Contribute creative ideas for activities, events, and center improvements Serve meals and snacks according to health and safety guidelines Assist with opening, closing, and operational duties as assigned Requirements KidsPark is a State-Licensed Facility. Candidates must meet Florida DCF Child Care Licensing requirements, including: Completion of a state-approved 45-hour introductory child care training, CDA, or equivalent formal education Completion of annual in-service training hours as required by DCF Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain promptly) Successful completion of Level 2 background screening, fingerprinting, and drug screening Preferred Qualities Natural leader who takes ownership and initiative Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented Passion for creating a fun, safe, and engaging experience for children and families Reliable and accessible by phone when scheduled or on-call
