Duties Prepare and assemble a variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards and recipes Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing, sales transactions, and cash handling Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and upselling additional items to enhance their experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across the kitchen and dining areas, including food handling and bussing duties Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and food safety compliance to uphold high standards of sanitation and food industry regulations Support team members with cashiering duties, basic math calculations for transactions, and retail math when handling cash or processing sales Qualifications Prior experience in food preparation or food service roles within quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail transactions Experience working in a café, grocery store, or retail environment is advantageous but not required Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed Join us at Subway Lake Panasoffkee where your enthusiasm fuels our success!
