Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Crew Member and Shift Lead, where you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced food service environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills while ensuring smooth daily operations. As a vital team member, you will be responsible for preparing delicious food, managing sales transactions, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Your energetic attitude and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and support the overall success of our restaurant. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to quality standards and food safety guidelines Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions, cash handling, and order processing Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining area, and food preparation stations in compliance with health regulations Assist in training new team members on food preparation, POS operation, and customer service protocols Support shift operations by managing time effectively, coordinating team tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy periods Handle cash register operations accurately, including cash handling, balancing registers, and completing sales reports Requirements Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurants is preferred; retail or grocery store experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction processing Experience with food preparation, bussing tables, or kitchen work is advantageous Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed Join us to be part of a lively team committed to delivering quality food and memorable experiences.
