Backup Packaging Lead (3rd shift)

Seeking a Buck-up Production Leader to work a 3rd shift in Miramar, FL.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Section Leader with daily operations and provide leadership to packaging employees to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. Lead packaging and labeling activities for pharmaceutical products in a GMP manufacturing environment. Assign tasks, coordinate overtime, and ensure employees are properly trained and qualified. Review batch records and packaging documentation for accuracy and completeness. Monitor packaging operations and ensure critical process parameters are documented correctly. Troubleshoot process issues, support investigations, and communicate concerns to supervisors. Verify materials and labels before use to ensure compliance with production requirements. Operate, assemble, clean, and maintain packaging equipment according to GMP procedures. Support production schedules and collaborate with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams. Train and retrain employees on SOPs, GMP compliance, safety procedures, and packaging operations. Maintain cleanroom and GMP standards while supporting all safety and compliance initiatives.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required. 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, food, or GMP manufacturing/packaging environments. Previous leadership or lead operator experience preferred. Strong understanding of cGMP regulations, SOPs, batch records, and packaging processes. Experience with packaging equipment, documentation review, and troubleshooting. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and ERP systems. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and support overtime as needed.

Pay:

$23.00 - $24.00 per hour
