Job Title Weigh-In Supervisor (2nd shift) Position Location Miramar, FL 33025 Pay/hours for position $21•22 per hour Requirements of position Qualifications High school diploma or GED required, Associate degree preferred. 3-5 years of experience in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetic manufacturing. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of FDA cGMP regulations and batch manufacturing processes. Experience with weighing, dispensing, batching, and raw material handling. Ability to read and interpret batch records, SOPs, and manufacturing instructions. Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems and inventory control procedures. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with multiple priorities. Preferred Experience Experience in dietary supplement or nutritional formulations manufacturing. Knowledge of allergen control and contamination prevention procedures. Experience with powders, flavor systems, active ingredients, and blending operations. Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Standing, walking, bending, and repetitive movement throughout shift. Ability to wear PPE including hairnets, beard covers, gloves, safety glasses, and protective uniforms. Ability to work in temperature-controlled manufacturing environments. $21•22hour Position Summary The Weigh-In Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the weighing and dispensing department within a cGMP-regulated nutraceutical manufacturing facility. This role ensures accurate weighing, staging, verification, and documentation of raw materials used in the production of powders, capsules, tablets, gummies, and other dietary supplement products. The Weigh-In Supervisor leads personnel, maintains compliance with SOPs, FDA cGMP regulations, safety standards, and ensures production schedules are met efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily weigh-up and dispensing operations for manufacturing batches. Ensure all raw materials are weighed accurately according to batch records and formulations. Verify lot numbers, expiration dates, quantities, and material identification prior to dispensing. Coordinate workflow and prioritize weigh requests based on production schedules. Review and verify batch documentation, material reconciliation, and inventory transactions. Ensure compliance with FDA cGMP, SOPs, HACCP, GMP, and company quality standards. Train, coach, and monitor weigh room associates and material handlers. Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of the weigh room and staging areas. Monitor calibration and proper operation of scales and weighing equipment. Investigate discrepancies, deviations, and material variances and report findings to Quality Assurance and Management. Collaborate with Warehouse, Production, Quality, and Inventory departments to support manufacturing operations. Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to all safety regulations. Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Assist during audits and inspections from internal QA teams or regulatory agencies. Mon-Fri 2:30pm-11pmPay Rate:
