The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the restaurant during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies. Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, while maintaining high standards of food safety. Train and develop team members in their roles, fostering a positive work environment that encourages growth and collaboration. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and uphold the restaurant's reputation. Implement catering services as required, coordinating with staff to ensure successful events. Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen and dining areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health regulations. Qualifications Proven experience in kitchen management or supervisory roles within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Proficient in cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in training development is preferred but not required.
