Position Description Are you ready to step into a leadership role where you can make a real impact on safety, well-being, and growth? As a Shift Supervisor I , you'll guide the safety and security team in creating a supportive and structured environment for individuals served. Your leadership will help maintain a therapeutic setting where consistency, accountability, and compassion come together to promote recovery and stability. What You'll Do In this role, you'll be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the actions of the safety/security team while fostering a secure and therapeutic environment. You'll lead shift briefings, assign employees to posts, and ensure staff are equipped to respond to a variety of situations with professionalism and care. You'll model effective communication and de-escalation strategies, provide guidance to staff, and help maintain safe routines for individuals served. You'll also contribute to policy and procedure development, review and support staff performance, and ensure accurate documentation that reflects the quality of care provided. What We're Looking For Education High school diploma or equivalent (required) Experience Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare or mental health treatment setting (required) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required) One (1) year of supervisory experience (preferred) Licensing/Certifications Certified Correctional Officer status as required by applicable state commission (required, if applicable) Valid state driver's license (required) Why Join Us This is more than a leadership role — it's a chance to support individuals on their journey while leading a dedicated team.
