Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Shift Supervisor and become a vital leader in delivering exceptional quick-service dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, motivate and guide team members, ensure food safety and quality standards are met, and create a welcoming environment for our guests. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold brand standards, and foster a positive team atmosphere that encourages growth and excellence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop management skills while working in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant activities, ensuring smooth shift operations from opening to closing. Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high food quality standards. Manage food preparation processes, including cooking, food handling, and ensuring adherence to food safety regulations. Oversee inventory control, stock levels, and ordering to prevent shortages or waste. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Train new staff members on food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer engagement techniques. Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. Assist with shift management tasks including scheduling, staff delegation, and performance feedback. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health regulations. Support management in budgeting efforts, sales goals, and operational improvements. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experienced in cash handling procedures. Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience in hospitality or restaurant settings. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively. Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Capable of supervising food production processes including catering, banquets, or casual dining environments. Leadership qualities with experience in staff training & development, interviewing, and performance management. Ability to multitask efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of inventory control practices and food industry regulations. $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
