EVS 2nd shift Supervisor $25/hr ( 2+ years experience )

Job Summary EVS Shift Supervisor Location:

Cleveland Clinic Indian river Legacy Staffing, in partnership with Cleveland Clinic, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that all tasks are executed efficiently and in compliance with safety regulations. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation, particularly within a hospital or commercial cleaning environment. The Shift Supervisor will lead a team of custodial staff, managing up to 40+ members, ensuring that all areas are properly maintained and sanitized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of custodial staff during assigned shifts, managing a team of up to 40 staff members.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies regarding safety and sanitation.
• Oversee the cleaning and sanitization of hospital environments, including patient rooms, waiting areas, and restrooms.
• Manage floor care operations, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met and maintained.
• Train new employees on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
• Address any issues or concerns raised by staff or management promptly.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Prepare reports on cleaning operations and staff performance for upper management.

Qualifications:

• CLEAN BACKGROUND CHECK

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations related to environmental services.
• Experience in custodial services within a hospital or similar setting is preferred.
• Proficient in various floor care techniques and equipment operation.
• Ability to sanitize effectively using appropriate cleaning agents and methods.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a large team.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Good communication skills for effective interaction with staff and management.
