Position Summary:
The Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts. This role supports the General Manager in driving sales, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining food safety standards, and leading the team to deliver outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service Ensure food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are consistently met Oversee opening and closing procedures Manage shift operations, including cash handling and drawer accountability Assist with training, coaching, and developing team members Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally Support sales growth through execution of company initiatives and local store marketing
Qualifications:
Previous restaurant or food service experience required Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Must be at least 18 years old Able to obtain and maintain ServSafe certification
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 30-50 pounds Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks
