The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards. Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels. Train and develop staff in various roles, including cooking, cash handling, and customer service. Utilize Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for efficient order processing and cash management. Conduct interviews and hire new team members as needed to maintain staffing levels. Implement effective shift management practices to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during service. Assist in budgeting and financial planning to optimize restaurant profitability. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling. Experience with inventory control and budget management is highly desirable. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively. Background in fine dining or casual dining environments is preferred. Familiarity with kitchen management practices, including food production and catering services. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
