Job Description

I. Qualifications A. High School diploma or GED B. Bachelors Degree in Social Services or related field preferred C. 21 years of age or older D. Two to five years' experience working with adolescents, preferably in a group setting E. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing II. Organizational Relationships A. Works closely with Program Director, Education Coordinator, Cottage Supervisors and entire staff. III. Description of Key Responsibilities 1. Supervises residents and ensures that appropriate rules and regulations are followed during on/off campus activities. 2. Manages residents' behavior that is consistent with NCI, the merit system and safety plans. 3. Ensures all documentation is completed by staff before leaving shift. 4. Accurately administers, monitors, and records medication to residents when needed. 5. Assigns Group Leaders/Group Leader Assistants to designated duties as needed and monitors completion of duties. 6.
Teaches independent living skills:
housekeeping, proper manners, appropriate language, personal hygiene, and dressing appropriately. 7. Assists Cottage Supervisor in daily operation of cottage. 8. Assists Cottage Supervisor in addressing residents' RBWO service plan goals as it relates to cottage staff. 9. Assists with staff call-ins. 10. Assists Cottage Supervisor in recruiting/retention process. 11. Acts as a positive role model for residents and staff. 12. Attends required training each year per Training Summary Form. 13. Is an active and contributing team player. 14. Orients new residents to campus. •All applicant are subject to pre-employment substance abuse testing. •Applicants must pass a pre-employment criminal background check•

From $19.00 per hour
