Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Catering Chef to join and lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in food preparation and event catering. As the Catering Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences for our clients, ensuring that every event is memorable and delicious. Duties Plan and execute catering menus for various events, including banquets, corporate functions, and celebrations. Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality standards are met. Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control and ordering supplies as needed. Lead and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas. Requirements Proven experience in the food industry with a focus on catering or banquet services. Strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques. Experience in team management with the ability to lead a diverse group of individuals. Knowledge of inventory control processes to manage supplies effectively. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with menu planning to create appealing offerings for various events.
