Job Description

Lead Hospitality Excellence A premier private country club in the North Metro Georgia region is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight of all restaurant, banquet, and hospitality operations. This executive leadership role is responsible for delivering exceptional member and guest experiences, developing and inspiring high-performing teams, and ensuring operational excellence across all food and beverage services. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong operational mindset, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven ability to lead restaurant and banquet operations in a private club or upscale hospitality environment. The ideal candidate enjoys building lasting relationships with members and guests, mentoring and developing employees, and fostering a collaborative team culture while driving continuous improvement in service, efficiency, and overall club experience. Position Overview The Food & Beverage Director is responsible for the overall leadership, planning, and execution of all front-of-house food and beverage operations, including member dining, banquet services, private events, and special functions. This individual will oversee staffing, scheduling, labor management, guest satisfaction, inventory control, and service standards while working collaboratively with culinary and club leadership to deliver an outstanding member experience. Key Responsibilities Direct all restaurant, banquet, and private event operations Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop front-of-house staff Build and maintain a culture of hospitality, professionalism, and accountability Manage scheduling, labor costs, and staffing levels based on business demand Ensure exceptional service standards and member satisfaction Oversee banquet and event execution from planning through completion Manage beverage programs and front-of-house inventory Monitor budgets, labor efficiency, and operational performance Resolve member concerns with professionalism and urgency Collaborate with culinary and club leadership to ensure seamless operations Lead by example and provide visible leadership during peak service periods and club events Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of progressive food & beverage leadership experience Experience in a private club, country club, resort, hotel, or upscale restaurant environment strongly preferred Proven ability to lead and develop successful hospitality teams Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience with scheduling, inventory management, labor controls, and POS systems Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, member-focused environment Schedule Full-time salary position Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by club operations Flexible schedule based on member events and business needs Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary of $70,000 - $80,000, based on experience Leadership role within an established and growing private club Opportunity to make a lasting impact on the member experience Collaborative and supportive leadership team Professional growth and advancement opportunities Why Join Us?
