Overview Join our dynamic team as a Restaurant Shift Leader and become the heartbeat of our bustling restaurant! As a Shift Leader, you will oversee daily operations, support staff, ensure food quality and safety, and maintain a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to company standards. Lead, motivate, and train team members in food preparation, customer service, and food safety protocols to foster a high-performance environment. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and transaction reconciliation. Oversee inventory control, monitor stock levels, and coordinate food production to minimize waste and optimize food quality. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, proper food handling practices, and cleanliness standards across all areas of the restaurant. Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training new staff members to build a skilled and confident team. Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly with professionalism to ensure guest satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience in food service management or supervising teams within quick service or fast food restaurants; casual dining or fine dining experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential. Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervisory or assistant manager experience in the restaurant industry. Excellent communication skills for staff training, team management, and customer interaction. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control procedures, and hospitality management principles.
