Warehouse/Forklift Lead - Food Grade Warehouse Staffing Depot - 3.5 Pooler, GA Job Details Full-time $23 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Basic math English Full Job Description Our client is seeking a Warehouse Lead to join their team and oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management, logistics, and shipping/receiving processes. This position is responsible for supporting the warehouse quality department by inspecting, approving, quarantining and releasing inbound and outbound containers. The standard schedule for this role is Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm. Availability up to 7pm and weekends, as needed, is also standard. This role is overtime eligible.

Warehouse Duties:

o Opening and securing warehouse daily o Plan and supervise execution of daily warehouse operations o Train and monitor all employees' training o Communicate with drayage companies to schedule pick up of all outbound loads o Communicate with drayage companies full container deliveries to the warehouse o Set stripping priorities based off of Folgers blend needs, 14 day and D&D times o QC items such as tares, insect inspections, dry van pre- inspection and container information o Reporting and supervising reconditioning of damaged coffee o Work with IT to troubleshoot all forklift computer and shipment issues o Warehouse inventory confirmation and reconciliation o Responsible for keeping warehouse audit ready at all times o Performs other duties as assigned

Receiving Inspection:

o Match seal number to ASN or BOL o Use pheromone trap to test for Indian Meal Moths o Perform receiving inspection, matching marks o Release container for striping o Perform bag tare procedure o Monitor for insect activity o Document sound coffee, torn and mended bags, and damaged bags o Communicate damage with QA and Traffic departments o Yard Inventories 2 per day; one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Shipping Inspection:

o Perform container pre-use inspection o Responsible for daily QA and Safety inspections o Use pheromone trap to test for Indian Meal Moths (after loaded) o Release container

QA and Safety Related Duties:

Knowledge of Food-Grade Warehouse Standard Practices Preferred o Maintain Housekeeping schedule and 7pt empty container inspections o Monitor others to ensure that QA and Safety Procedures are being followed o Update IMS with damage information and maintain files o Monitor and issue personal protective equipment o Ensure employees are trained prior to working o Fire extinguisher checks completed monthly o Order supplies for the warehouse o Follow scrap process o Maintain visitor log and contractors log o Receive containers into yard and input into IMS o Discharge containers from yard and remove from IMS Supervisory Responsibilities Yes Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This position is exposed to Hot and Cold temperatures. It may also be exposed to dust.
