Food Services Lead Job Summary:
Food Services Leads are responsible for supervising food locations and upholding Company standards for cleanliness, courtesy to guests, scheduling, inventory and adherence to daily tasks to ensure smooth operation.
Job Responsibilities:
Complete familiarity with Park policies, operating calendar and hours. Schedules Food staff for location and posts schedule weekly. Takes weekly inventory of most needed items. Follows daily preparation list to open area with proper supplies, food and beverages. Monitors inventory list for location daily. Responsible for verification of all cash drawers at opening and closing. Ensures Food Safety policies are upheld. Ensure employees can accurately log on to registers. Submit inventory ordering needs weekly. Monitors location for adherence to park policy. Responsible for end-of-day operational and cleaning procedures.
EducationExperience:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service (preferred). ServSafe certification (preferred).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Display a willingness to learn. Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision. Good communication skills. Demonstrate the ability to work with associates, guests, and supervision in a positive, productive and professional manner. Work collaboratively in a team setting and independently. Ability to complete daily tasks without supervision. Ability to comply with all company, divisional and state laws regarding minor labor laws. Ability to work weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs. consistently. Physical exertion such as frequent bending, twisting, stretching, stooping, and reaching overhead. Standing and walking for long periods on surfaces such as uneven surfaces and hard flooring. Must be able to work in all weather conditions and elements including the direct sunlight with no shade, cold, rain, etc. Varying work hours extending up to twelve (12) hour workdays under some circumstances.
Safety Expectations:
Promote and practice safe work practices at all times. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed. Adhere to company, state and federal safety standards and regulations. Adhere to State of Georgia Health Code requirements at all times.
