The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, and leading a team in a fast-paced environment. The Shift Leader will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality in food preparation and service while fostering a positive work atmosphere. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts to ensure efficient operations. Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and performance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organization in all areas. Assist in managing inventory levels, placing orders as necessary, and minimizing waste. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency. Monitor staff performance, providing constructive feedback and support to foster growth within the team. Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing, tracking sales, and managing transactions. Skills Proven leadership abilities with experience in training development within the food industry. Strong background in fine dining or banquet services is highly desirable. Familiarity with quick service fast food restaurant operations is a plus. Culinary knowledge to assist with food preparation and menu planning. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
