We provide food service to local jails and truly value our employees by understanding the important balance between work and home life.
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food production and safety. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional service while ensuring client satisfaction, we want to hear from you. This position will train in Watkinsville but after training will be mainly working from our Jefferson facility with occasional help in Watkinsville.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare meals in a local jail kitchen in compliance with health and safety standards and dietary needs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service area
  • Train and oversee trustees assigned to kitchen
  • Able to lift up to 15 pounds properly
  • Maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, county officers, and trustees
  • Support shift management activities to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
  • Proven experience in food production
  • Understanding of food safety guidelines and procedures
  • Ability to supervise effectively
  • Prior experience in cafeteria cooking or inmate food service is beneficial
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
