Food/Beverage Supervisor

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring that our food and beverage operations run smoothly, providing exceptional service to our guests while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, particularly in restaurant or hotel settings, and demonstrate excellent leadership skills. Duties Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Train, mentor, and supervise staff, including interviewing potential candidates for various positions. Manage shift schedules effectively, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak times. Monitor inventory levels and assist with budgeting to optimize costs while maintaining quality service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation of food items. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of current trends in the food service industry, including coffee specialties and menu innovations. Utilize POS systems for order processing and sales tracking. Qualifications Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food service or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and guests. Experience in budgeting and financial management within a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred. Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
