Shift Leader Job Responsibilities & Expectations As a Shift Leader, you are a critical member of the management team and are held to the highest standards of performance, accountability, and professionalism. The responsibilities outlined below are mandatory minimum expectations and must be met daily, without exception. Failure to meet these standards may result in disciplinary action, up to and including demotion or termination. All members of management are expected to contribute equally. No individual may rely on others to carry their responsibilities. Consistent failure to perform assigned duties negatively impacts the entire team and will not be tolerated. Required Daily Responsibilities Report to work on time and in a clean, pressed, and complete uniform Maintain all Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) Standards at all times Ensure all food meets hot, fresh quality standards Accurately complete the Daily Quality Assurance (QA) Log Maintain adherence to all food cost, labor, and controllable budgets Ensure all employees receive required breaks in compliance with company policy Properly deploy team members based on strengths and operational needs Train and develop employees in accordance with company training programs Maintain drive-thru service times at or below 3:30 Ensure all employees remain productive and efficient throughout their shift Complete all cash deposits accurately and on schedule Ensure all prep work is completed according to the prep chart Assign and verify completion of all cleaning responsibilities Provide clear direction, leadership, and coaching to all team members Complete all opening and closing procedures accurately and on time Enforce all cash handling policies and take corrective action when necessary Verify and document safe counts at the beginning and end of each shift; maintain required bank levels at all times Ensure adequate cash denominations are available; notify the General Manager of any shortages Deliver a consistent guest experience with zero complaints Support and execute all management directives without exception Complete and submit all required paperwork before the end of your shift Leadership Expectation You are expected to lead by example at all times. This includes maintaining professionalism, accountability, and a results-driven mindset. As the Shift Leader, you are fully responsible for the performance and execution of your shift.

From $14.00 per hour
