The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing daily warehouse operations at our SQF- and USDA-regulated frozen food facility. This position ensures that inventory is properly managed, inbound and outbound logistics run smoothly, and all activities comply with food safety, quality, and safety standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can train, motivate, and supervise warehouse staff while maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations Supervise daily activities related to receiving, staging, storing, picking, and shipping Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and layout optimization Ensure timely movement of goods to support production schedules Compliance & Safety Enforce adherence to SQF, USDA, and internal food safety protocols Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure OSHA compliance Maintain SOPs and support a culture of safety and accountability Inventory Control Monitor inventory levels and perform regular cycle counts Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies Coordinate with production and procurement teams to manage stock flow Team Leadership Assign daily tasks and monitor performance of warehouse team members Provide coaching, training, and corrective feedback Support new hire onboarding and cross-training initiatives Logistics Coordination Schedule and oversee incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments Liaise with carriers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment Manage dock activity and documentation for all loads Continuous Improvement & Reporting Track KPIs to evaluate operational efficiency Suggest and implement process improvements Maintain accurate logs and submit daily/weekly reports

Qualifications:

3+ years of warehouse or logistics experience in a food or manufacturing environment Prior supervisory experience required Knowledge of SQF, USDA, and OSHA standards Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills Familiarity with WMS or ERP systems preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold storage environments
