This position requires a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains high standards, and leads by example. In addition to leadership responsibilities, this role will actively work the register and assist with daily cashier duties. Requirements Valid BASSET Certification Valid Food Handler Certificate Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Previous restaurant leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and work well under pressure Positive attitude and strong work ethic Excellent attendance and reliability Strong cash-handling and customer service skills Responsibilities Lead and support Front of House team members during assigned shifts Act as a cashier by greeting guests, taking orders, processing payments, and providing exceptional customer service Ring up customers accurately and efficiently using the POS system Bag and verify orders to ensure accuracy before they are delivered to guests or drivers Count cash drawers, handle cash transactions, and maintain accountability for money throughout the shift Ensure all orders meet company standards for quality, accuracy, and speed Monitor ticket times and ensure timely delivery of dine-in, carryout, and delivery orders Assist with FOH prep lists and inventory to ensure all necessary items are stocked throughout the shift Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards in all guest-facing areas Handle customer concerns professionally and effectively, including de-escalating complaints Oversee and ensure proper handling of food allergy orders, following all safety procedures Assist with preparing, serving, and delivering alcoholic beverages in compliance with BASSET regulations Support training and coaching of team members Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations Ensure opening, shift change, and closing procedures are completed correctly Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a natural leader who stays calm under pressure, takes initiative, pays close attention to detail, and genuinely enjoys serving guests. They are organized, responsible, and capable of balancing leadership responsibilities while providing hands-on support wherever needed.
