Dairy Queen Manager

Job Summary The Dairy Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the dairy department within our establishment. This position requires a strong leader who can manage staff, ensure food safety and quality standards, and provide exceptional customer service. The Dairy Manager will be responsible for training staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Duties Supervise daily operations of the dairy department, ensuring all processes run smoothly. Train and mentor staff on food handling practices, safety protocols, and customer service excellence. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness. Assist in creating and implementing promotional strategies for dairy products. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate events such as banquets or special promotions. Utilize Aloha POS system for order management and sales tracking. Provide support at the bar or coffee station as needed during peak hours. Handle shift management responsibilities to ensure adequate staffing and coverage. Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a diverse team. Familiarity with Aloha POS system is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
