Full Job Description Schedule:
Evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours based on event schedule We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and hands-on Banquet Houseman Supervisor to lead our banquet setup team and help deliver exceptional event experiences. This position is responsible for supervising banquet housemen, overseeing event room setup and breakdown, ensuring cleanliness and organization of banquet spaces, and maintaining efficient operations before, during, and after events. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, has strong leadership skills, and takes pride in attention to detail and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Supervise and assist banquet houseman staff with event setup, room flips, and breakdowns Ensure banquet rooms are properly arranged according to event orders and setup diagrams Coordinate room setup timelines to ensure events are completed accurately and on schedule Inspect meeting rooms, event spaces, storage areas, and public areas for cleanliness and presentation standards Train, coach, and support banquet housemen to maintain productivity and service standards Communicate with banquet managers, kitchen staff, and event teams to ensure seamless event execution Assist with tables, chairs, linens, staging, dance floors, AV setup coordination, and other event equipment Monitor inventory and organization of banquet equipment and supplies Enforce workplace safety procedures and proper lifting techniques Step in to support operational needs during large events and busy periods Qualifications Previous banquet, hospitality, event setup, or hotel experience preferred Supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred Ability to lift, push, and move banquet equipment (up to 50 lbs) Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Reliable attendance and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Strong communication and team leadership abilities What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Flexible scheduling Opportunity for growth within hospitality operations Team-oriented work environment Employee discounts and benefits (if applicable) If you enjoy leading a team, working in a fast-paced event environment, and creating memorable guest experiences, we encourage you to apply today!
